With the final installment of “The Hunger Games” series finally being turned into a movie like its predecessors, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” took the world by storm. As of yesterday, the film has earned almost $200 million worldwide.
The film based on the prequel book, will focus on the origin story of the overarching villain of “The Hunger Games” books and films, President Snow. Furthermore, it is also the story of Lucy Gray Baird, the winner of the tenth Hunger Games and their relationship.
With the first film being the number one Google search in the year released, 2012, it is safe to say that the film franchise was an instant success and continues to hold true with the newest film being ranked number two on IMDb in popularity.
While I have not seen the final installment of the series, I am excited to do so, as I have been a fan of the series ever since the first movie was released.
