Ava Voigt, junior, is a photographer and editor for the North Polk High School yearbook. This is her first year on the yearbook staff. 

Voigt has a passion for photography and decided to join the yearbook staff to expand her knowledge of it. “I love photography and I think it’d be a really good experience,” Voigt stated. 

Even though she has not been a member of the staff for long, she has expressed she’s still learned a lot, such as how to better manage her time and expand on her camera skills. Furthermore, she’s completed many challenging projects, such as finishing the yearbook from the 2021-2022 year. 

“I am a photographer for the Ames Little Hockey League,” Voigt affirmed when asked what she enjoys doing in her free time. 

After high school she hopes to become either a sports photographer or a forensic psychologist.
