Senior Jacson Richards is currently in his first year as a broadcast editor, but has been involved with the program since his junior year when announcing for home basketball games with prior broadcasters.

Within school, he is involved with football, band and Principal’s Council and some outside of school hobbies are sleeping, reading and spending time with friends.

He explained that the initial editor that peaked and convinced him to join the broadcasting team was broadcast veteran Elijah Boatman, with whom he shared many moments with when announcing. He moreover explained that he is looking forward to the year in order to “see if journalism is something that [he] may want to pursue in the future.”
