Tyler Sullivan, a senior, is a broadcast editor for North Polk High School. “I thought that this class would best fit me. Charlie Rhoads got me into it and told me it would be a good fit and I haven't looked back.” This is Sulivan’s first year doing broadcasting for North Polk and helps with recording and editing. 

Ever since Sullivan joined Journalism, he has really enjoyed it. “ I really like anchoring and I really like just how we all like to bounce ideas off each other and fine with criticism, constructive criticism.” Being able to talk in front of people is what Sullivan thinks is the most important for Journalism and he says it helps with communication skills.

Some of Sullivan’s hobbies outside of school and journalism are playing sports and being outside.“I enjoy sports, I’ve always been a big sports fan. I play football, run track, and I play baseball. I like to help out and be outside as much as I can.” Sullivan likes to be very active and loves participating in what North Polk offers for after school activities.

After high school, Sullivan plans on going to college at Iowa State and going into business, but is unsure what major or minor he wants to pursue.
