The annual Student Council led Dodge Ball Tournament was a successful tournament that allowed students to compete against each other to be able to take on the staff member team head on.

To play in the tournament, students must create their own team of six. Each team member had to donate $5 to be able to play. The money raised from the tournament went towards the snack bags given to the elementary schools for students who are in need of food assistance. The reasoning behind having the dodge ball tournament each year is “To help raise funds for Student Councils’ state volunteer project surrounding benefiting foster children,” stated Addy Happ.

In total, there were seven student teams who participated in the tournament. However, the senior team, Anotha One, won and had the opportunity to play against the staff’s team. The senior team consisted of: Jack Petterson, Cole Sanger, Tate Owen, Jack Noble, Coby Lungren, and Dominic Bouchard. Competing against the staff who included: Aaron Dose, Tim TeBrink, Shelby Ordonez Jones, Michelle Oleson, Seth Poldberg, and Drew Hemesath.
