Junior Aidan Kelsick shared his favorite parts about the FFA State Convention, “This past state convention I participated in the Ag Biotechnology SAE with Dillon Hanlon, Kynsly Gehling, and Hannah Renshaw. I got 8th individually which was crazy but even more is that our team got first overall. It was hard but really fun, especially because of the result. I also got to go and see other different SAE competitions and tour the Career Fair, watch part of the talent show and the keynote speaker, Mr. Hanson from KCCI, see the Memorial Union all while we walking with other FFA members, go to the BBQ which was good, and participate in Fun Night where I met new people and learned some new barn dances. Overall, I had fun but my favorite experience was definitely winning Ag Biotech.”
