A new year and new schedules have all brought major changes to student and teacher lives. Another change that will be occurring is a bi-weekly newsletter bringing calendar events and stories from the North Polk newspaper, “The Orbit” to the “Bathroom Banter.”
While thinking of ways to generate traffic to our online school newspaper we thought of one place where we knew that events would have undivided attention, the bathroom!
“I am excited for ‘The Orbit’ to be featured in more areas than just the website, and for more possible visits to the website,” stated newspaper editor Zoe Marquez.
Not only will the newspaper stories be a feature, but events and their dates will be listed as well, and if a student wants to get a club or sports event included on the calendar they can email either of “The Orbit” editors.
“This is yet another way for us to get information to students and this one just happens to be from students,” expressed Journalism advisor Jessica Trier.
