Junior, Matt May, just wanted to get some journalism experience this year by taking journalism production class, “I needed a third hour class, and it seemed pretty interesting”. His favorite part of the class this year has been writing articles for our school newspaper, the North Polk Orbit. His favorite school lunch is the square pepperoni pizza. Outside of school, he likes to hang out with his friends, watch sports and The Office, and “occasionally do homework.” He also plays soccer for the school team and in a rec league, and is a part of a youth group. He hopes to go to college at some point, but plans to go into the military first.
